psychological and social problems
The Mental Health Crisis: An Urgent Problem in Society In the modern era, mental health has emerged as a quite critical problem in society that affects millions of people around the world. Despite advances and improvements in medicine and technology, mental illnesses are not so simple to treat, they remain one of the main causes of disability and human suffering. Depression, anxiety, stress and other mental disorders do not discriminate by age, gender, thinking, or social or economic status. There is a lot of questioning about the fact that although on many occasions, we know the causes of these, let's call them “diseases”, it is not possible to understand how to treat them.
Factors Contributing to the Mental Health Crisis Stigmatization and Lack of Awareness: One of the biggest obstacles to achieving mental health is the stigma that surrounds it. Many people feel ashamed or afraid to seek help because of social prejudices, which lead them into darker corners and more dramatic measures. Lack of awareness and education about mental disorders exacerbates the problem, preventing people from receiving the necessary support.
